§ 94-5. Buildings within streets, obstructions generally.

No person shall obstruct or in any manner encumber any street, alley or sidewalk or erect any building, in whole or in part, upon any street, alley, sidewalk or public ground within the city without first having obtained a permit from the city manager, or, where applicable, a special events permit or waiver in accordance with the Land Development Code. Having erected any such building or structure, no person shall fail to remove the same within 24 hours when notified so to do by the city manager.
