§ 86-72. Composition; compensation; term.

The board shall serve without pay and shall consist of seven trustees, as follows:

(1)

Director of finance (or designee);

(2)

Director of human resources (or designee);

(3)

One resident citizen of the City of Arvada not otherwise employed by the city or affiliated with the retirement system, appointed by city council;

(4)

Four members of the retirement system, to be elected by the members of the retirement system.

The four members of the retirement system shall serve for a term of two years, pursuant to such rules and regulations as the board may adopt.
