§ 10-64. Refusal.

  • (a)

    The city manager may refuse to issue any license for an amusement arcade if the city manager should find any of the following:

    (1)

    That the applicant is under the age of 21 years; or

    (2)

    That the applicant, manager or any of them has made false statements upon the application; or

    (3)

    That the applicant, manager or any of them is not of good moral character.

    (b)

    No license shall be issued for an amusement arcade located within 500 feet of any grade school, junior high school or senior high school.

    (c)

    In the event the city manager disapproves a license application, the city manager shall make written findings of fact stating the reasons for the disapproval.
