§ 86-85. Vacancies.

In the event that a police officer trustee ceases to be a police officer in the service of the city, the board shall declare his office of trustee vacated. If a vacancy occurs in the position of police officer trustee, the vacancy shall be filled within 90 days after the date of the vacancy for the unexpired term, in the same manner as the office was previously filled.
