§ 78-6. General powers.

The council, on behalf of the city and in its name, without any election, shall have power from time-to-time to acquire, improve, equip, operate and maintain, within or without the city, or both within and without the city, any project, including without limitation:

(1)

A combined sewer project;

(2)

A curb and gutter project;

(3)

A drainage and flood control project;

(4)

An off-street parking project;

(5)

An overpass project;

(6)

A park project;

(7)

A sanitary sewer project;

(8)

A sidewalk project;

(9)

A storm sewer project;

(10)

A street project;

(11)

An underpass project; and

(12)

A water project.
