§ 6-62. Composition.

The licensing authority shall consist of five qualified electors of the city, who shall be appointed by the city council. Of those initially appointed two shall be for a term of three years, two for a term of two years and one for a one year term. Thereafter, appointments shall be for a three year term. No person shall serve as a member of the local licensing authority who shall have any interest in the operation of an Arvada liquor establishment or in one serving fermented malt beverages or who has a member of his immediate family who has such an interest.
