§ 62-126. Intentional inhalation of fumes.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person intentionally to smell or inhale the fumes of any substance releasing toxic vapors for the purpose of causing a condition or state of excitement, exhilaration, euphoria, stupefaction or dulled senses or nervous system in such person, commonly known as "glue sniffing"; or to buy, receive, possess or use any such substance for any of the aforementioned purposes; or to aid, abet or assist any other person in the purchase, receipt, possession or use of any such substance for any of the aforementioned purposes.

    (b)

    Intentional inhalation of fumes shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed the limits established in section 1-5.
