§ 62-39. Criminal mischief.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person willfully to destroy or damage real or personal property belonging to another, including property owned jointly by the person with another or property owned by the person in which another person has a possessory or proprietary interest.

    (b)

    This section shall apply only where the aggregate amount of damage to the real and/or personal property that is damaged or destroyed in a single criminal episode is less than $1,000.00.
