§ 54-94. Parent or guardian's duty.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for the parent or legal guardian of any person under the age of 18 to permit such minor to act in violation of the provisions of this article.

    (b)

    For the purpose of prosecution of any parent or guardian for violation of this section, it shall not be necessary in order to obtain a conviction to prove notice or knowledge on the part of such parent that such minor was violating any of the sections of this article at the time and place charged, it being the purpose and intent of this section to impose strict liability upon the parents for the actions of their minor children.
