§ 46-53. Default by authority.
Nothing in this article shall be construed as limiting the power of the authority to vest in:
(1)
An obligee the right, in the event of default by the authority, to take possession of a housing project or cause the appointment of a receiver thereof, free from all the restrictions imposed by this article with respect to rentals, tenant selection, manner of operation or otherwise;
(2)
Obligees, pursuant to section 46-64, the right, in the event of default by the authority, to acquire title to a housing project or the property mortgaged by the housing authority, free from all the restrictions imposed by this article except those imposed by sections 46-64 and 46-68.
