§ 46-31. Established.

(a)

The city council hereby finds and determines that:

(1)

Unsanitary and unsafe inhabited dwelling accommodations exist in the city.

(2)

There is a lack of safe and sanitary dwelling accommodations in the city available for all the inhabitants thereof.

(b)

The council further desires to avail itself of the provisions of the Housing Authorities Law, C.R.S. § 29-4-201 et seq. and pursuant to said Act, establishes the Arvada Housing Authority to function in accordance with the state statutes.
