§ 2-93. Duties of city clerk.

  • The city clerk shall perform such duties as shall be assigned by law, the Charter, this Code, city ordinances and the city manager. The city clerk shall be custodian of the city seal and all city records, other than those specifically assigned to others by this Code, and shall serve as clerk to the city council. The city clerk, as director of the function of records and elections, shall perform such other duties as are required by such office and shall be held responsible for property of every nature under his control.
